Just moments ago, Old Mrs. Camden had convinced Orlando’s influential figures to ensure that Jordan had no future in the city.

Now, she was offering him a meal.

The contradiction puzzled many, but Victoria Clarke saw the brilliance in it.

    This wasn’t kindness—it was control.

    A final show of dominance.

Old Mrs. Camden had already cut off Jordan’s opportunities, but by forcing him to stay, she made it clear—he was still beneath them, bound by their rules.

    And Jordan? He didn’t argue.

Without hesitation, he sat at the same table as Hailey, Drew, and the other grandchildren.

    Mockery and Contempt

Drew, sitting beside Jordan, grinned wickedly.

“Jordan, this will be the last meal you ever have in Orlando. You’d better eat well—soon, you won’t even be able to afford steamed buns!”

His younger sister, Elle, added with a smirk, “Brother, you’re exaggerating. He can always become a beggar.”

    Drew howled with laughter.

“You’re right! He’d make a fine beggar! We’ll allow it, hahaha!”

Jordan ignored them. He was far too used to Drew’s mockery to feel anything.

However, Elle’s sudden involvement made him glance at her.

Though not as stunning as Hailey, Elle was famous in Orlando for her incredible figure. Unlike Hailey, however, she and Jordan had rarely interacted due to family tensions.

    Still, Jordan remained silent.

Drew, unsatisfied with the lack of reaction, raised his glass and turned to Ryan Dunn.

“Mr. Dunn, I must thank you for today. That scene where you made Jordan undress? Classic. It was like disciplining a dog!”

Ryan grinned, clinking glasses with Drew.

“You’re too kind, Mr. Camden. If I had known, I’d have had you record it. That way, you could watch it whenever you need a laugh.”

    Drew roared with laughter.

“You’re right! We should’ve filmed it!”

The two men laughed loudly, as if deliberately trying to provoke Jordan.

Ryan then snapped at him directly.

“What are you looking at, punk?! If you ever try to work for my delivery company again, I’ll break your legs!”

    Jordan’s eyes darkened.

A cold, murderous glint flickered in them.

Ryan Dunn had crossed a line.

Without another word, Jordan picked up his phone and made a call.

The hall fell quiet as his voice rang out.

    “Butler Frank.”

On the other end, a voice immediately responded.

    “Sir!”

This was Butler Frank, the man whom Jordan’s grandfather had appointed to assist him. He had been the one to inform Jordan that his mission as a live-in son-in-law had ended, and he was now the president of Ace Corporation.

    Jordan spoke calmly.

“There’s a takeout delivery business owner who has been desperate to meet my grandfather for dinner. What’s his name?”

    Butler Frank replied immediately.

“You mean James Willis, the CEO of Ubereats Delivery?”

    Jordan nodded to himself.

“Yes, him. Contact him and tell him to revoke the Orlando proxy of Ubereats Delivery.”

    The entire hall froze.

Hailey, Elle, Ryan, Victoria, and the others stared at Jordan in disbelief.

    Butler Frank’s voice remained steady.

“Understood. Mr. Willis has been eager to meet Mr. Steele Senior. He will be pleased to fulfill your request.”

Then, as an afterthought, he added—

“In fact, Mr. Willis is now worth over $10 billion. He has developed quite well over the past few years and is qualified to have a meal with Mr. Steele Senior.”

    Jordan smirked slightly.

“Good. Arrange a meeting with him. I’ll take him out for dinner soon.”

Then, without another word, he ended the call.

    Laughter Turns to Panic

For a moment, there was silence.

    Then—

    “Hahahaha!”

Drew laughed so hard his face reddened, stretching his bruises.

“What a joke, Jordan! Who are you trying to fool? You think you can revoke Mr. Dunn’s proxy? Do you even know who you’re talking about!?”

    Ryan scoffed, shaking his head.

“You should at least pick the right time and place to bluff, kid. Do you think anyone here is stupid enough to believe you?”

    His voice dripped with mockery.

“Your grandfather is a farmer. Mr. Willis is worth billions. Why would a billionaire want dinner with some peasant?”

    Even Hailey sneered in disgust.

“Pathetic. If you’re useless, just admit it. Why embarrass yourself by pretending?”

    The room erupted in laughter.

    Only Victoria didn’t join in.

Her sharp eyes remained locked on Jordan.

    She could tell—he wasn’t bluffing.

    Still, Jordan ignored the noise.

He simply picked up his chopsticks and calmly helped himself to some appetizers.

    The Call That Changed Everything

    Six minutes passed.

    Ryan’s phone rang.

Excited, he quickly wiped his hands and picked up.

    “Hello, Mr. Willis!”

    The room fell silent again.

Everyone—the Camdens, Victoria, and the wealthy gueststurned to listen.

Ryan’s voice was filled with confidence.

“Mr. Willis, I was just about to call you regarding our contract renewal.”

But then, James Willis’s cold voice came through.

“I’m calling to inform you—your proxy in Orlando has been revoked.”

    Dead silence.

The color drained from Ryan’s face.

    “…What?”

The entire hall held its breath.

    Drew’s laughter stopped abruptly.

    Hailey’s smirk vanished.

Even Victoria’s eyes flickered with intrigue.

    Ryan stammered, gripping his phone.

“M-Mr. Willis, there must be some mistake—”

But James Willis’s tone remained firm.

“No mistake. The decision is final. You are no longer the general agent of Ubereats in Orlando.”

The Camdens watched in stunned horror.

Just minutes ago, they were celebrating Jordan’s downfall.

Now, Ryan Dunn—the man who had humiliated Jordan—had lost everything.

Jordan set down his chopsticks and calmly sipped his drink.

    He had only just begun.
