Jordan was the only one who knew the truth—the emerald jadeite bracelet was sent by Butler Frank on behalf of the Steele family.

Only a family as powerful as the Steeles would have the confidence to hand a million-dollar gift to a mere deliveryman.

Yet, in the Camden family banquet hall, the guests remained bewildered.

“This jadeite bracelet is the most expensive gift here today!”

“Old Mrs. Camden, who is this generous benefactor? You must introduce us!”

The murmurs spread throughout the room, but even Old Mrs. Camden herself was at a loss for words.

“That’s strange,” she muttered. “All our acquaintances are here today. Who could’ve sent this?”

The Camdens exchanged confused glances, but then—

Elle’s eyes gleamed with excitement as she looked at the priceless bracelet.

With a smug smirk, she flipped her hair and declared, “Could it be from my suitor?”

Her words sparked a wave of speculation.

Elle wasn’t just beautiful—her voluptuous figure and massive online following made her a highly sought-after socialite.

At only twenty years old, she had no shortage of wealthy suitors vying for her attention.

    Herman chuckled proudly.

“That’s highly likely! My daughter has millions of fans online. It’s only natural that a wealthy admirer would send her such a gift.”

Victoria raised an eyebrow, looking Elle up and down.

As a woman with an exceptional figure herself, Victoria had to admit Elle was attractive.

With a knowing smirk, she added, “In that case, congratulations, Mr. Camden. Your future son-in-law is quite generous.”

    Herman beamed, his ego swelling.

    “You flatter me, Miss Clarke.”

From the side, Hailey watched enviously, her hands clenching into fists.

‘Elle is about to marry into wealth, while I wasted three years with this loser!’

Then, her gaze landed on Jordan, and resentment burned in her eyes.

Yet, Jordan simply shook his head, speechless.

He had called Butler Frank to send a gift right in front of everyone, yet no one even considered that the bracelet was from him.

Instead, they eagerly credited it to some faceless admirer of Elle.

Jordan put down his bowl and chopsticks, then turned to Hailey.

    “Are you finished eating?”

Hailey wrinkled her nose in disdain.

    “Yes, why?”

Jordan stood up from the table.

“Since we’ve eaten and I’ve already given my gift, let’s go to the lawyer’s office and get a divorce.”

    Denial and Insults

The banquet hall fell dead silent.

Then, Hailey’s eyes widened in disbelief.

“Wait, what did you just say? You gave a gift? When?”

She had just been fuming over the fact that Elle’s suitor sent a million-dollar gift, while Jordan—her own husband—hadn’t even bothered.

Jordan pointed directly at the bracelet in Old Mrs. Camden’s hands.

    “That’s the gift.”

Immediately, Herman slammed his hand against the table and shot to his feet.

“Jordan! How shameless can you be? How dare you claim that bracelet as yours?!”

His face turned red with rage.

“That thing is worth a million dollars—money you wouldn’t earn in multiple lifetimes!”

    Elle scoffed in disgust.

“Hailey, can you get your useless husband to stop embarrassing himself? That bracelet clearly came from my suitor!”

    Drew laughed mockingly.

“Your family couldn’t even afford a decent birthday gift, so now you’re trying to steal someone else’s? What a joke!”

Hailey felt her face burning with shame.

“Enough! Let’s just go. I don’t want to be your wife for even a second longer!”

She grabbed her purse, turned on her heel, and stormed toward the exit.

    “Hailey, let me drive you.”

Tyler quickly followed after her, his excitement barely concealed.

Jordan turned toward Old Mrs. Camden, his expression neutral.

“For three years, I’ve had both good and bad times with this family, but we were still family. This bracelet is my gift to you. Happy birthday.”

Sylvie rolled her eyes and waved dismissively.

“Enough of your nonsense! Just leave already. Stop pretending.”

Drew, still nursing his bruised ego, sneered, “Jordan, once you’re divorced, take the train and get out of Orlando immediately! I never want to see your face again!”

    Jordan chuckled softly.

“Whether I leave Orlando or not isn’t up to you.”

With that, he walked out the door.

    The Divorce

Just as Jordan stepped outside, a BMW 7 Series pulled up.

The passenger window rolled down, revealing Tyler and Hailey sitting inside.

    Tyler smirked smugly.

“Punk, Hailey says you don’t deserve to sit in a BMW. Better rent a bike and pedal your way to the lawyer’s office.”

With a roar of the engine, the BMW sped off.

Jordan, completely unfazed, hailed a cab and followed behind them.

Minutes later, at the lawyer’s office, Jordan and Hailey sat across from each other, their marriage certificate and divorce agreement on the table.

    The process was swift.

With a few signatures, the three-year marriage was officially dissolved.

The lawyer handed them each a purple divorce certificate—a symbol of their severed ties.

    For Hailey, it was liberation.

For Jordan, it was just the beginning.
