Victoria Clarke was a legend in Orlando’s business elite.

She was more than just the deputy president of Ace Corporation—she was an untouchable goddess. Every powerful man in the city had either tried and failed to win her favor or feared her ability to manipulate them with just a look.

Even billionaire CEOs had bowed to her before, quite literally.

Everyone in the company still remembered when a high-ranking executive from a partner firm had caused endless trouble in negotiations.

Victoria had handled it in under two minutes.

    The result?

The man had knelt down before her and put her shoes on himself.

Her subordinates had been in awe.

“She can make any man submit,” Ashley gushed to her colleagues as they giggled in excitement.

Now, they were about to witness another legendary moment—Victoria Clarke, the President Killer, taking down the new CEO of Ace Corporation.

Victoria was already preparing herself for the encounter.

She checked her reflection in the bathroom mirror, adjusting her flawless makeup. She had chosen her outfit carefully—a pink Chanel Haute Couture two-piece, elegant and commanding.

“Once I step in, I’ll leave the door slightly ajar,” she told Ashley and the others. “You’ll be able to watch how I take down this greenhorn.”

Ashley clapped her hands eagerly. “Make him kneel and put your shoes on for you, Miss Clarke! We need to see that classic scene again!”

Victoria smirked. “I guarantee he’ll be on his knees within three minutes.”

After all, she had conquered men with far more power and experience than some 23-year-old rookie CEO.

She had no doubt that this man would be no different.

    Entering the Lion’s Den

With full confidence, Victoria strutted towards the president’s office and knocked lightly.

    Bang! Bang!

“Please, come in,” a voice called from inside.

Victoria’s brows furrowed slightly. The voice was familiar, but she didn’t dwell on it.

Pushing the door open, she left it slightly ajar, just as planned.

Outside, Ashley and the other women silently crept up barefoot and pressed their ears to the door, eager to watch the spectacle unfold.

Ashley whispered, “Do you think Miss Clarke can take him down?”

The head of the investment department scoffed. “There was once a president who claimed to be completely uninterested in women, but the moment Miss Clarke took off her jacket to show her shoulders, he got a nosebleed. She’s a president killer. Unless this guy’s a virgin, he won’t stand a chance.”

The female interns listened in awe, determined to learn Victoria’s tactics.

If they could take down one CEO in their lifetime, their careers—and lives—would be set.

    The Face Behind the Chair

Inside the office, Victoria stepped in and took a moment to observe the man seated in the president’s chair.

He was facing the window, his back partially turned to her.

A thick company report rested in his hands, and his posture was relaxed yet powerful.

From her angle, she could only see a glimpse of his side profile.

Her eyes traveled over him, analyzing every detail.

“What a cool haircut… It looks like something straight out of a K-pop idol group.”

Most of the CEOs she dealt with were either bald or had severe receding hairlines. This man had a full head of styled, voluminous hair.

    Her gaze moved lower.

“Such a strong nose bridge… And that jawline! He’s incredibly handsome.”

For the first time in a long time, Victoria felt a flutter of excitement.

She wasn’t interested in just any man.

Her standards were extreme—her ideal partner had to be rich, powerful, handsome, and intelligent.

So far, not a single man in Orlando had checked all the boxes.

    But this man…

    There was something about him.

Taking a deep breath, she softened her voice, adopting the gentle, delicate tone she used when she wanted men to fall for her instantly.

“Mr. Steele,” she purred, “I’m Victoria Clarke, the deputy president of Ace Corporation. I heard you wanted to see me.”

She saw his hand pause over the document.

Then, he turned his chair around.

    The Shock of a Lifetime

Outside the door, Ashley’s heart raced.

    “He’s turning around!”

The intern giggled. “I bet he’ll get a nosebleed the moment he sees Miss Clarke.”

The investment department supervisor smirked. “Forget a nosebleed—he’s going to drop to his knees and call her ‘Queen’ on the spot.

Inside, the moment Jordan’s face came into full view, Victoria froze.

    Her entire body stiffened.

Her breath caught in her throat.

Her fingers curled slightly, gripping the edge of her skirt.

Her eyes widened in absolute shock.

    She knew this face.

    She had seen it yesterday.

She had stood before this very man and sworn to destroy his future.

The “greenhorn” CEO she had been so confident about was Jordan Steele.

    Her face drained of color.

Her usual sharp wit and calculated charm vanished in an instant.

For the first time in her entire career, Victoria Clarke, the invincible President Killer, was at a complete loss.

She stared at Jordan, struggling to form words.

    Jordan, however, simply smiled.

He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms, his piercing gaze locked onto Victoria’s trembling expression.

    “Surprised?” he asked coolly.

And just like that, the woman who had spent her entire career making powerful men kneel before her…

…was now the one on her knees.
