    “Hello, I’m Jordan Steele.”

Jordan stepped out of the luxurious white Maybach, his pristine white suit radiating sophistication. The crowd, stunned into silence, admired him like a prince stepping out of a fairytale.

Unlike Tyler and many others present, Leonard had never met Jordan before. But upon seeing him, Leonard’s face lit up with excitement. He grasped Jordan’s hand firmly. “Welcome, Mr. Steele! It’s a great honor for my son and me to have you here!”

Rosie, standing beside her husband, could hardly contain her surprise. “Mr. Steele, I didn’t expect you to be so young and handsome!”

Jordan offered her a charming smile. “You must be Mrs. Collins. You are truly as elegant as they say.”

Leonard beamed with pride. “Thank you for the compliment. She is indeed my wife.”

Rosie blushed at the praise, flattered by Jordan’s words. However, Tyler’s expression darkened, his patience wearing thin.

“Jordan Steele, stop pretending to be the president of Ace Corporation!” Tyler spat angrily. “You’re just Victoria Clarke’s bodyguard!”

Hailey, standing stiffly by Tyler’s side, was equally puzzled. Why would Victoria, the capable CEO, play along with Jordan’s supposed deception? It didn’t make sense.

Before Jordan could respond, another voice cut through the tension.

“Mr. Steele, I’ve heard much about you. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”

Mr. Walton stepped forward, extending his hand toward Jordan with a genuine smile.

Jordan, momentarily taken aback, accepted the handshake. “Mr. Walton? You know the Collins?”

Mr. Walton chuckled and shook his head. “No, no, I came here specifically to see you. I heard you’d be in Orlando and couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Three years ago, I had dinner with your grandfather in LA. He is a legend in my eyes. I’ve always wanted to meet him again but didn’t want to disturb him. How is he these days?”

    The room went still.

Hailey and Tyler exchanged bewildered glances.

Jordan’s grandfather? Was Mr. Walton talking about the same man they had dismissed so easily?

Jordan smiled. “My grandfather is well, and he has spoken of you before, Mr. Walton. He regards you as an industry genius. He would love to reconnect. He’s currently in England—if you ever visit, I’d be happy to arrange a meeting.”

Mr. Walton’s face brightened. “That would be an honor! Shall we exchange numbers?”

The surrounding business elites could only watch in envy as Mr. Walton personally saved Jordan’s contact information.

Once their exchange was complete, Mr. Walton excused himself for another meeting, shaking Jordan’s hand once more before leaving.

Just as the crowd was settling from this shocking turn of events, a sudden commotion erupted.

A man dashed through the crowd and dropped to his knees before Jordan, bowing so deeply his forehead nearly touched the floor.

    The guests gasped.

Tyler’s face twisted in confusion before recognition struck him. “Mr. Dunn? You’re Ryan Dunn, the general agent for Ubereats Orlando! Where have you been? And why on earth are you kneeling to Jordan Steele?”

Ryan, visibly shaken, turned to Tyler. “I spent the last month in DC, pleading with Mr. Jones to reinstate me. He finally agreed—but only if Mr. Steele forgives me. He said Mr. Steele was the one who had me removed as general agent.”

A wave of shock rippled through the room.

Ryan turned back to Jordan, desperation in his eyes. “Mr. Steele, I was wrong! I never realized how powerful you are. The Camdens manipulated me into going against you! Please, forgive me!”

Herman Camden stepped forward, still skeptical. “Are you sure Jordan is the president of Ace Corporation? You might be mistaken.”

Ryan spun on his heel and snapped, “Mistaken? Mr. Jones himself told me! Mr. Steele was the one who made the call that cost me my position!”

A murmur spread through the crowd. Herman’s face paled.

Before anyone could fully process Ryan’s revelation, another figure appeared.

Zack Smith, the once-proud owner of Sunny Restaurant, stumbled forward. His once-polished suit was now wrinkled, and his eyes were hollow with exhaustion.

“Mr. Steele, I was blind to your power! I regret ever crossing you!” Zack, too, fell to his knees beside Ryan.

Tyler’s breath caught in his throat.

Was Jordan really the man pulling all the strings?

Just then, Drew Collins stepped forward, holding up his phone. “Still don’t believe it? Check for yourselves! Open the Heaven’s Eye app and look up the president of Ace Corporation!”

Tyler and Hailey fumbled for their phones. A few taps later, the screen confirmed the truth in glaring detail.

Jordan Steele – President of Ace Corporation.

Hailey’s phone slipped from her hands, crashing onto the floor.

The reality hit her like a tidal wave. Jordan, her ex-husband, the man she had discarded, was one of the most powerful men in the country.

Diana Camden gasped audibly, her body trembling. Unable to take the shock, she collapsed onto her chair.

“Mom! Are you alright?” Herman rushed to her side, scooping her up in his arms. “I’ll take you to the hospital!”

Benedict and Sylvie tried to intervene, but Herman was already hurrying away, desperate to escape the nightmare unraveling before him.

One by one, the Camdens backed away, the weight of their mistakes pressing down on them.

Jordan stood still, watching as the truth shattered everything they once believed.
