    Chapter Index
    (N/A)

In the grand and opulent hotel, Hailey, resplendent in her white wedding dress, had just done the unthinkable—she had refused to complete her vows in front of everyone!

Gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd.

Ever since Jordan had revealed his identity as the president of Ace Corporation, Hailey had felt herself wavering. Seeing how Orlando’s most powerful figures groveled before him, treating him like royalty, had made her question everything.

Her former husband, whom she had once dismissed, was now a tycoon, admired and feared. How could she possibly settle for Tyler?

Tyler wasn’t as handsome as Jordan, nor as gentle. He would never cherish her the way Jordan had. His only redeeming quality had been his family’s wealth, but even that was meaningless now.

    Hailey made her choice.

Tears streamed down her face as she fled the stage, racing straight into Jordan’s arms. “Jordan, I love you!” she cried.

The wedding hall erupted into chaos.

“Oh my God! The bride just abandoned the groom at the altar for another man!”

“Haha! This is better than any movie. I can’t believe what I’m seeing.”

Onstage, Tyler’s face went deathly pale. His fists clenched at his sides, trembling with rage.

Jordan remained seated, his emotions a storm inside him. Hailey, his former wife, was now embracing him in front of everyone.

There was a mix of emotions—vindication, resentment, and even a flicker of the love he had once held for her. But above all, there was fury. He remembered standing before Tyler and Hailey in his takeout delivery uniform, being ridiculed and humiliated.

They never imagined this moment would come.

Beside him, Victoria lit a cigarette, smirking. “Hailey Camden, do you think running back to Jordan will erase what you did?” she said mockingly. “If you regret it now, you should have never left him in the first place.”

At the front of the hall, Leonard’s entire body trembled. His daughter-in-law had just declared her love for another man at her wedding!

    The Collins were disgraced.

Benedict, Hailey’s father, stormed forward and yanked her out of Jordan’s embrace. A loud slap echoed through the hall as his hand connected with her cheek.

    Smack!

“You’ve lost your mind! Are you trying to destroy our family!?” he bellowed.

Benedict knew this was a catastrophe. The Collins were not the type to let such humiliation slide. If Hailey rejected Tyler now, both their families would suffer.

Sylvie, however, rushed to Hailey’s defense, pulling her into a protective hug. “Benedict, how dare you hit our daughter!” she shrieked. “She was married to Jordan for three years! They love each other! Why should she stay with Tyler when Jordan is obviously the better man?”

Benedict’s face turned red with fury. “You fool! Jordan doesn’t want her back! She’s ruined everything!”

Jordan, who had remained silent, finally stood up. He straightened his suit, his voice calm but firm. “Indeed, Mr. Collins, this is quite the wedding. No wonder you were so insistent that I attend.”

    His words dripped with sarcasm.

Jordan turned to Victoria. “Let’s go.”

Victoria stubbed out her cigarette and stood. “I thought you’d never ask.”

At that moment, Dustin rose from his seat. “Mr. Steele, Miss Clarke, wait for me. I’ll leave with you.”

And then, the real humiliation began.

One by one, the remaining guests at Jordan’s table also stood up.

“Mr. Collins, I have urgent business to attend to. I must take my leave.”

“I just got a call from the office. I need to go immediately.”

Within minutes, nearly every guest—especially the influential business figures—walked out, leaving only two tables occupied.

The only ones left were Collins family relatives.

Leonard clenched his fists as he realized what had happened. The guests were all smart enough to see where the real power lay. If they continued associating with the Collins, they risked being blacklisted by Jordan Steele.

“Ahhh!” Tyler roared, grabbing a chair and smashing it against the table.

Their grand wedding, costing over a million dollars, was now a complete disaster.

Leonard, though livid, forced himself to remain calm. He turned to his son. “Tyler, take Hailey home. Today is your wedding day—don’t let this nonsense ruin it. Your mother and I will handle everything.”

He then faced Hailey, his voice cold. “Hailey Camden, I know you want to go back to Jordan, but open your eyes—he doesn’t want you. You made your choice, and now you must live with it. You’re my son’s wife now.”

Hailey bit her lip, her heart in turmoil. All she could think about was Jordan.

    But it was too late.
